Aphasia the movie is the heartfelt true story of actor Carl McIntyre, starring as himself. After suffering a massive stroke at age 44 and losing his ability to read, write, and talk, Carl struggles against overwhelming odds to redefine his life. Over 100,000 Americans acquire aphasia annually. Join CSULA & CSUN in raising awareness about aphasia and its life-changing effects.
The film will be followed by a 10-minute humorous and moving presentation from Carl and a short Q&A session with the audience.
